When is this a team booster not so suitable?
This is a light-hearted programme, working on the foundations of good team work. If your team has serious issues and/ or a long history of problems I'd recommend an intake conversation with each team member, plus a further follow up with team coaching (only if the full team commits to that).

HIGH PERFORMANCE TEAM PROGRAMME
Spark unlimited's flagship programme for a high performing team.
A 6-8 month Team development programme, to make a sustainable change. Monthly sessions -face to face or online- with the whole team, aimed to make a real and sustained difference.
What's included?
✅ Online questionnaire ahead of the programme to assess the team’s current effectiveness and highlight areas that need attention (worth £35 pp). In some cases I might recommend personal intake conversations with each team member.
✅ Team Booster day: Kicking off the programme with the basics of good team work. Getting clarity about where you want to go as a team and how you want to work together. And get full commitment (the team will vote Go/ No Go).
✅ 4 x Team Coaching follow-up sessions*: team sessions to work towards the team goals.
✅ 5x follow-up consultations with the leader of the team (90 mins, online).
✅ Each session custom designed, based on the specific needs of your team.

about Team Coaching
WHAT IS TEAM COACHING Let’s start with what team coaching isn’t: it’s not training. I’m not here to “teach” you or your team how to do your job, or a new skill. Team coaching is about helping your team take ownership of their own development. It’s about putting them firmly in the driver’s seat. We shine a light on the patterns in how you work together and ask the all-important question: Do you want to keep doing things this way, or is it time for a change? My role as a team coach is to help you get there. I’ll make the team aware of what’s happening, challenge unhelpful habits, and guide you toward meaningful change. From there, we'll experiment - getting to know and try out new behaviours, experiencing firsthand what works (and what doesn’t). And here’s the magic: it’s the team itself—not me—that takes responsibility for creating real, lasting improvements.
WHAT KIND OF TEAMS IS IT FOR? Team coaching can deliver the goods for all sorts of teams. When a new team is being formed and needs to hit the ground running. Or a key team is not working as effectively as it could, and the team leader and members agree that they want to do better. A long-established team has lost its sparkle and wants to regain it. Or a top team wants to become a role model for the rest of the organisation. Again, what's important is that the team itself takes the responsibility and decides where it wants to go.
DOES TEAM COACHING WORK WITH VIRTUAL/ REMOTE TEAMS? es! Your virtual or remote team can be a dream team too!! We'll simply take Team Coaching online. Tried and tested. And succeeded! The rules of being an effective team apply as much to virtual teams as face to face ones. And remote meetings definitely can be effective and fun! You could compare remote team work with an e-reader: it may initially feel not as good as a real paper book, but when you look at the many advantages (small, you can read in the dark, lightweight, it's many books in one) it might actually be better!
AND THE RESULTS? And the results? I hear you ask. Well... The team achieving the goals they themselves formulated ✅. No more elephants in the room ✅. Clear agreements and agreed ways of working ✅. Ways to deal with and address each other when the going gets tough ✅. Focus ✅. A positive energy, a joy to work together and business results ✅✅✅. I would call that a Spark✨!
IS TEAM COACHING THE ANSWER FOR ALL TEAMS? The short answer is "no". Team coaching isn’t always transformational. If there is no desire in the team for collective improvement, then the impact will be very limited. Equally, the team leader needs to see that change involves them as well. That's why I always ask the team explicitly for commitment. And they have the option to say no. That's OK. So yes, a bit of courage and being open to change is required. For the team and their leader.
WHAT SIZE TEAMS DO YOU WORK WITH? For Face to Face (F2F) sessions I keep a maximum of 12 team members. For online sessions the group can be maximum 9 members. Bigger is possible but then sessions might need to be longer. So for bigger groups: let's talk.
